    This is an important bibliographic database of citations to the agricultural literature, and is produced by the National Agricultural Library, USDA. Includes material whose full text is available online in the National Agricultural Library Digital Repository.

    Maintained by the University of Florida.
  • ASPNet: Plant Pathology Online

  • Biodiversity Heritage Library 
    Ten major natural history museum libraries, botanical libraries, and research institutions have joined to form the Biodiversity Heritage Library Project. The group is developing a strategy and operational plan to digitize the published literature of biodiversity held in their respective collections.
  • Botanicus Digital Library 
    Freely accessible digitized historic botanical literature from the Missouri Botanical Garden Library. The Library has been digitizing its materials since 1995, focusing primarily on beautifully illustrated volumes from its rare book collection.

  • Fact Sheets and Plant Guides 
    Produced by the the National Plant Data Center and the Plant Materials Program of the Natural Resources Conservation Service.
  • Flora of North America 
    The Flora of North America presents information on the names, taxonomic relationships, continent-wide distributions, and morphological characteristics of all plants native and naturalized found in North America north of Mexico. It will eventually reach 30 volumes and will be available in print and on the Web.
  • Global Invasive Species Database  
    This database is managed by the Invasive Species Specialist Group of the Species Survival Commission of the IUCN-World Conservation Union. It was developed as part of the global initiative on invasive species led by the Global Invasive Species Programme and is supported through partnerships with the National Biological Information Infrastructure, Manaaki Whenua-Landcare Research, the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund, the University of Auckland and private donations.

    A relational database of phylogenetic information.
  • Weeds Gone Wild: Alien Plant Invaders of Natural Areas 
    A project of the Plant Conservation Alliance's Alien Plant Working Group, this site lists invasive plants infesting natural areas throughout the United States.

Their work has been called the world's most comprehensive collection of bibliographic information pertaining to forest and conservation history.
