Research Bulletin
The Atoll Research Bulletin is issued by the Smithsonian Institution to provide an outlet for information on the
biota of tropical islands and reefs and on the environment that supports the biota. The Bulletin is supported by the
National Museum of Natural History; electronic publication is facilitated by Smithsonian Institution Libraries.

- The Micronesian Seminar
The Micronesian Seminar, known popularly as MicSem, is a private non-profit, non-governmental organization that assists the
people of Micronesia in reflecting on life in their islands under the impact of change in recent years. Established as a
research-pastoral institute by the Catholic Church, and turned over to the Jesuit Order in 1992, MicSem serves the people of the
Federated States of Micronesia, the republics of Palau and the Marshall Islands, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana
Islands. The MicSem Library boasts about 20,500 titles, and 58,000 photos on Micronesia, all searchable online.
