for abstracts and full text articles from a large collection of publications in one easy process. All of the databases
listed below are fully searchable, with EBSCO’s easy to use patron interface allowing the researcher to search through
one or more of these databases at any one time.
Science & Technology Collection
Science & Technology Collection contains more than 820 leading full
text journals covering relevant aspects of the scientific and technical
community. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing
and abstracts for more than 1,740 publications. Topics include aeronautics,
astrophysics, biology, chemistry, computer technology, geology, aviation,
physics, archaeology, marine sciences and materials science.
This collection contains many scholarly journals including Advances
in Physics, American Scientist, Archaeoastronomy, Astronomy & Geophysics,
Civil Engineering, Engineering Management Journal, Journal of Aerospace
Engineering, Journal of Architectural Engineering, Journal of Applied

EJS E-Journals
E-Journals from EBSCOhost provides access to electronic journals and full text of articles for
journals managed through EBSCOhost Electronic Journals Service (EJS), as well as usage of SmartLinks
in EBSCOhost. E-Journals from EBSCOhost allows search and retrieval of citations, abstracts and full text.
Users have access to titles from publishers who have given EBSCO permission
to re-use Table of Contents and abstract information in an aggregated
database. Please note that this does not represent all of the titles
available in EJS. Limiters can be utilized to further narrow search results.
Most of these titles are scientific, technological or medical in nature.
This database has been designed to support the same linking functionality
that is already standard in EBSCOhost databases.
Academic Search Elite
Academic Search Elite provides full text for more than 2,000 journals,
including 1,561 peer-reviewed titles. In addition to the full text, indexing
and abstracts are provided for all 3,505 journals in the collection.
This database offers information in nearly every area of academic study
including: computer sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, language
and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, ethnic studies and more.
Examples of titles offered in Academic Search Elite include: American
Historical Review, American Journal of Political Science, American
Libraries, American Sociologist, British Journal of Psychology, British
Journal of Sociology, Central European History, Contemporary Literature,
Early American Literature, Journal of Social Psychology, Library Journal,
Social Forces, Sociological Review, Theological Studies, Women's Studies,
etc. In addition to journal coverage, Academic Search Elite provides
full text information from a variety of source-types such as scholarly
monographs. The majority of full text titles are available in native
(searchable) PDF, or scanned-in-color. Full text information in this
database dates as far back as 1985.
MasterFILE Premier
MasterFILE Premier provides full text for more than 1,750 general periodicals covering
general reference, business, health, education, general science, multicultural
issues and much more. In addition to the full text, this database provides
indexing and abstracts for more than 2,400 titles.
This database features: 5,000 full text Magill Book Reviews,
nearly 500 full text reference books including the World Almanac & Book
of Facts; full text from 85,827 biographies, 105,789 full text primary
source documents, American Heritage Dictionary, 4th Edition and
an Image Collection of 285,912 photos, maps and flags. MasterFILE Premier
offers PDF backfiles as far back as 1975 for key publications including American
Libraries, Foreign Affairs, History Today, Judaism,
Library Journal and National Review.
Legal Collection
Centered on the discipline of law and legal topics, Legal Collection
is a collection of respected, scholarly peer-reviewed publications including
law journals, documents, and case studies. This database is an authoritative
source for information on current issues, studies, thoughts and trends
of the legal world. Legal Collection offers full text for more than 250
of the world’s best law journals.
This database provides information centered on the discipline of law
and legal topics such as criminal justice, international law, federal
law, organized crime, medical, labor & human resource law, ethics,
the environment and much more. Full text journals contained in this database
include: American Journal of Criminal Law, California Law
