Titles Located in the Department of the Interior Library Periodicals Reading Room
Only selected periodicals are shelved in the Periodicals Reading Room. This Room is a section of the main Library Reading Room, located to the left of the Library doorway as you enter.
Check the online catalog to find current periodicals and most others. If the Library has not received issues since 1975, the periodical is recorded in the card catalog.
Older back issues of the titles listed here are shelved in the same manner as are the other non-legal periodicals: either alphabetically by title on Deck 6 (titles with the call number "PER"), or by LC call number in the stacks.
The Library also maintains a list of selected legal periodicals, which are shelved on Deck 4.
